Affordable Bathrooms and Kitchens is a full service design build residential renovation and remodeling business specializing particularly in the field of kitchen and bathroom renovation. AB&K’s driving motivation is to provide a uniquely personal, transparent and accountable level of service…as well as skilled, respectful and clean craftsmanship… while performing kitchen and bathroom renovations in a timely manner that are affordable in consideration to each homeowner’s financial condition. We succeed in providing such services in an affordable manner through extensive development of strategic partnerships with vendors to furnish the best materials at the most competitive prices. We succeed in providing a unique level of service through detailed and purposeful development of our consultation, design and project management systems as further described below.
Consultation and Design
Our initial consultation is first and foremost about getting to know you. Our goal in this stage is to learn about your family’s lifestyle, routines, tastes and desire for positive change. We listen as you describe the kitchen or bathroom you have envisioned. It is our belief that a solid understanding of these components is the foundation upon which a project should be built, regardless of the size of your budget. All clients work personally with AB&K founding Partner, J.D. Burkholder, who makes use of his extensive experience to develop a plan that coordinates your needs and wishes with your budgetary constraints.
Your plan is further developed as J.D. works directly with our design team to illustrate your kitchen and bathroom design for further clarity and to assist with selection of finish materials- most of which can be selected directly from our showroom.

Project Management
Within days of Contract agreement you will be introduced to AB&K Partner, Guy Burkholder- your dedicated Project Manager. Dedicated Project Management is a fundamental component of every AB&K project. This supports our value in providing thorough, transparent and professional services to all of our clients. Guy uses his professional experience and education as an “Owner’s Construction Representative” to provide you with a direct and single link to all aspects of your project, a pre-renovation review of the project, a detailed renovation schedule that clearly define each day’s activities, and on-site quality control throughout the duration of the project. Guy performs extensive review of all aspects and coordination between all parties prior to the start of each project to ensure that your project will be completed quickly and thoroughly.
